Experience a great day out exploring the nearby area of Marine Park.
The Alonnisos National Marine Park is the largest protected marine area in Europe
and was established to protect the endangered Mediterranean Seals. It consists of
Alonnisos and several desert islands, such as Peristera, with rich flora and fauna.
The cruise program includes stops for swimming and snorkeling at the protected
uninhabited island of Peristera. Virgin beaches with crystal blue waters and

spectacular spots for snorkelling lovers. Continuing in the island of Alonnisos we
choose beautiful beaches such as the Kokkinokastro with the red sand and the Milia
with the turquoise water for swimming. One more stop is at the Alonnisos main town
Patitiri, from where you can visit the famous Old Town (Chora), to walk along its
cobblestone streets, climb up to the Kastro area to enjoy the view, taste its traditional
delicacies and do your shopping. Although, according to the requirements of your
group and after consultation with Captain Stavros, the stop in Alonissos town can be
skipped and replaced with more time to spend at the island's beaches. A highlight of
the cruise is the entrance to sea caves with the boat for photo shoots. During the
trip, Captain Stavros will guide you around the area and you will hear many stories
about it. With a little luck you may observe the dolphins playing around the boat and
some seals sunning themselves on a secluded beach.
